Beacon Haven and C.S.V.N.S. for Minnesota
Beacon Haven is now open In New Brighton, MN, to serve the Upper Midwest region of the United States. It replaces Clifton House in Minneapolis that closed in 2003. As a brand new facility, it is looking for dedicated Journal-listed Christian Science nurses to anchor the Christian Science nursing staff. Please call the Administrator for more information.
The Board of Trustees of Clifton House, Inc. undertook a capital campaign to make the new facility possible. With more than 85% of the new facility budget goal committed from gifts pledged by friends of Clifton House, construction began in September (2008). In October (2008), a generous supporter pledged a $200,000 challenge grant that will match all new gifts to the capital campaign so that Clifton House may begin operation free of construction debt or a mortgage. The matching grant is still in place and contributions continue to be welcome. Please help us earn the full amount of this generous challenge grant with your gift to the campaign today. To learn more about the facility, the campaign, the challenge grant, or how to help with your gift, please contact a member of the Clifton House Board of Trustees by clicking here.
The new facility is located on lake shore property that was donated by First Church of Christ, Scientist, New Brighton.
