Director of Christian Science Nursing (summary)
We are seeking a talented, flexible, loving leader who has a thorough understanding and demonstrated practice of the Manual By-law for the Christian Science nurse. The Director of Christian Science Nursing (DCSN) is responsible for the successful conduct of the Christian Science nursing activities at Peace Haven, all in accordance with Article VIII, Section 31, of The Manual of The Mother Church. This office is instrumental in establishing and maintaining the healing atmosphere of Peace Haven, understands and supports the policies and procedures of the Executive Director, the Board of Trustees, and The Commission for Accreditation of Christian Science Nursing Organizations/Facilities, Inc.
Training Mentor (summary)
We are seeking a Training Mentor to support and nurture the growing practice of those who are participating in our Christian Science nurses’ training program. The individual who fills this position will have the opportunity to exemplify on a daily basis every aspect of Article VIII, Section 31, “Christian Science Nurse,” in the Manual of the Mother Church and to help others understand and demonstrate its requirements. Peace Haven partners with the Christian Science Nursing Arts Program and participants in the Peace Haven nurses’ training program receive classroom instruction at Chestnut Hill or Arden Wood.
